Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is well designed and well structured. The entire course duration is of 3 years with 2 semesters per year. The curriculum is designed with importance given to practical applications.

Placement Experience

We do have our own placement and training cell. The on-campus placement is quite normal. We are mostly selected for analyst positions with a good stipend starting from 25K INR per month. Many students do manage to secure PPOs from their internship itself.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I have to pay around 3K INR every year which is pretty feasible for me. This fees covers my tuition fee, admission fee, wifi and other miscellaneous fees. Compared to other colleges, it is quite a good value for money choice.

Campus Life

We have a lot of different clubs in our campus from arts club to photography club. We also play a lot of sports in our campus. All kinds of events are celebrated and hosted in our campus from fresher's party to cultural fest.

Admission

I was a commerce student in my 10+2 grade and decided to pursue accountancy. I applied for Baruipur College through online process and got selected on merit basis. The minimum eligibility was to pass 10+2 grade. This entire admission process was pretty simple and quick.

Faculty

The faculty members are all highly qualified and with higher education and experience. They are selected through a screening process, so one can guess how good they are. They are quite affable and share their real life experience which are quite useful.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

THERE ARE FAR BETTER OPTIONS

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
