Remarks

I heard about this college alot from my relatives. Also the fees of this college was less burden full. Just 5 thousands for the entire course with best infrastructure and faculty was something everyone wants

Course Curriculum Overview

My specialization field was accountancy thus every thing related to accountancy was there in my syllabus. Whether it was economics or statistics all the important subjects were presented time to time with the semesters

Placement Experience

As for my time there was no placement cell activated in the college. Generally students just after doing b.tech, never opt for job but it's totally my ideology. Whosoever needed job hunted for it and got pretty good ones.

College Events

There was no particular celebration for which our college was famous. Rather than we celebrated every festival in the college with great pomp and show. Specially Durga Puja which was the main festival of West Bengal.

Campus Life

Management of the college was really nice. They took care of everything present in the college. Whole campus was WiFi connected but few times Network did buffered but that too once in a while which was not a problem or negetive point

Hostel Facilities

Hostel feature was present in the college. Just in some distance our hostel was there. Our warden was a very nice and gentle lady who became our mother gradually. She even scolded me when I did some thing wrong or inappropriate

Admission

I was chosen for the admission on the basis of my marks I gathered in +2 examinations. There were several cut-offs released by the college time to time. And the cut-off which matched my marks percentage was 80-85%

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
