Remarks

I chose this college because it a reputed one. I have heard a lot about this college. The faculties are great. The campus has all the basic and modern facilities. It is a renowned institution. Overall, the college is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was up to date. We had both theory and practical portions. Our teachers were competent and dedicated. Many of them had several years of experience in teaching. We had to submit assignments and projects regularly.

Placement Experience

The placement opportunities need improvement. Some local companies come to our college to hire students. The average package can be around 15000-25000 per month. The placement rate is quite low. Otherwise, the college is good.

College Events

Our college organises several activities like debate, declamation, poetry, poster making etc. The major attraction of our college is the annual function. It can be considered equal to a festival. It is organised at a huge level.

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure is quite good. It is well built and is renovated after every 5-6 years. The classrooms are spacious and airy. There are facilities for indoor and outdoor sports as well. There are various labs where practicals are conducted and a library which has a rich collection of books and journals.

Admission

The admissions are granted on the basis of merit.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
