I think college management used to populate the college by advertising but it was not worth decision as I feel placement is important and we study these expensive courses for placement.
Entrance Preview
I gave WBJEE in the year 2009 my rank was 11993 and I wanted to complete my graduation in electrical engineering and this was the best college I was getting this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was good, the preference on practical and theoretical was even and I feel it was great for learning. There were several difficult subjects which were distributed in many semesters, so that one can learn those subjects.
Internships Opportunities
I didn't got any stipend as it was self arranged internship program by me and I learned alot in it. It was relevant to my subject and it was great for me.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunity was not great in my college. 10 to 20 % students got placement from the campus and I was lucky to get job from my college.
College Events
There were various events used to get celebrated in my college and hostel separately. The events were freshers, feast, tech feast and farewell. The hostel premiere league was the sporting events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was expensive and 80000 money was taken for personality development and I feel nothing was done with this money and it all went in the college profit.
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't availed but there were some facilities available.Some of my friends availed it and from them I got to know about it.
Campus Life
The campus life was good and I think college management tried to envolve us in some extracurricular. The lab facilities were good.The robotics and tech feast were organised every year.
Hostel Facilities
The accommodation was good and there was 24 hours power supply and the room was good and airy. The food was not great.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior were good and they told that earlier my college used to place many students but later it got detoriated. some of my seniors are well placed in good companies.
Exam Structure
The practical and theoretical exams were separate and it was mandatory to pass in both separately. Failure in any of them resulted to supplementary, I never failed in any of them.
Faculty
Some of the faculties were good but some really lacked knowledge about their subjects. It is necessary for a faculty to give some practical example while teaching and it was sometimes missing, it is also important for a faculty to understand whether the content which is being taught is understood by the students or not.
