MBBC has pretty good study environment with well experienced faculty. Curriculum is research orientated rather than memorizing theories and formulas which is plus whoever want to do research as it will enhance your analytical skills, which are very crucial in research world.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of my program is good and updated. It comprises of current trends regarding my major. The curriculum of my major is research orientated, from research methodologies to working on project or dissertation independently under a supervisor from the faculty. You will also learn and work on software like Mathlab and Latex, R language. The grades will be evaluated based on your performance in class tests, final exams etc . however in the last semester, you have to work on a project or do research along with all above mentioned things to pass the semester.
Placement Experience
I can only speak on the behalf of my major. MBBC doesn?t provide any internship as it doesn?t have any placement cell. The main reason behind it MBBC offers research orientated programs rather than the faculty members will help you through the process , will provide you proper guidance.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee of MBBC is NOT expensive at all and feasible for everyone.. The total fee for M.SC student for 2 years is around 7000, it also provide relaxation to reserved category and girls . it is very cheap
Fees and Financial Aid
University provides no scholarships to students as it already heavily subsidized by the government. still it does provides relaxation to the reserved category and girls as per UGC norms. Students can also apply for the scholarship online provide by State Government and Central Government to support students.
Campus Life
The university has decent no of extracurricular activities. University organized seminars and workshops. Informal parties like fresher party, welcome parties do happens in the campus. prominent personalities like CM of the state and others personalities do invited by the University on different occasions.
Admission
I am always good at maths so I decided to go for applied mathematics . so the admission process is consists of entrance exam. So You have to pass the entrance exam. The application form usually released out around may or first week of june on its website
Faculty
All the faculty members have pretty experienced in the course they teach. They are more inclined towards research work and encourage and try to engage the students in the same. They are very helpful and you can reach to them anytime to clear your doubts.
