One of the best government run Medical colleges of West Bengal.Environment is very pleasant and clean which is much needed to study medicine.Well communicated(just beside the Berhampore station).There is huge clinical exposure in the hospital as the college serves a broad area of Nadia,Murshidabad and Birbhum districts and also a part of Bihar.Good faculty and modern facilities.Hostels are very clean and nicely maintained unlike other medical colleges.This year pg course is going to be started.Overall this can be your dream college with a soothing environment in the historical city of Berhampore and Murshidabad.If you are getting chance to study here just grab it

Faculty student ratio 10:1 All faculties are M.D.some of them are also D.M and Mch.They are from well known colleges like aiims delhi There are exams in every week as usual in this toughest course
Internships Opportunities
1 year internship is mandatory in this course.They are posted on campus and off campus to peripheral PHCs in Murshidabad.there is very good clinal exposure in this college.internship stipend is quite fat comparing other states
Placement Experience
All students are placed in government hospitals or private hospitals who opted to do job.otherwise they can study for pg or do housestaffship after internship.Interns get 28500 per month in 2020 which is almost highest in India.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are minimum.it is around 4500 per semester and there are 9 semester.admission fees 6500 including the first semester fees
Campus Life
The annual fest is Chronaxie which is very much exciting.In 2019 Mohammad Irfan was invited there.each year many functions competitions cricket and football matches fashion shows are held. There is fully air conditioned classes and libraries
