Remarks

Good Faculty and Infrastructure. They syllabus is taught by the professors based on their knowledge and experience which gives a more clearer picture of the content. Lot of opportunities to learn from within and outside the boundaries of the college.The campus is really beautiful. Best choice in Town

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus was always up to date. One of the courses of entrepreneurship is written by the college director, Dr. K.K. Patra who writes his book with utmost patience and dedication. The book was a hit, when it comes to this subject

Internships Opportunities

I did a lot of internships while I was in college, One such internship was at Melting Flowers, where I was a content writer, l later, joined the company in Bangalore in operations department.

Placement Experience

In my year, Flipkart came for recruitment, for the role of Team Lead and Quality Auditor. More than 200 students appeared for the interview. I got the job as well. Multiple other alumnis are currently working for companies like Dabur, Google, Amazon to name a few

College Events

The campus life like any other college, is very life. The most awaited event of the entire year would be the sports festival. Students organize multiple sport events and everyone has an amazing time. Other events include Austoprohari, Marketing Mela to name a few. Every year, competitions are held on Children's Day, where students from around the town come and participate

Campus Life

The campus is really beautiful. The auditorium is spacious and beautiful, with a centralized AC and a stage with dressing rooms. The library is very informative and is a store house for all the good books, magazines, newspapers etc

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

In 5th semester the campus is coming to give you jobs. The company are vedant ltd, jsw, tata, reliance etc, outside companies also come. Maruti Suzuki. 60 to 70 per cent of students gate the job. I am also job junior engineer at Tata.

Courses and instructors are good, but don't expect a rocking campus life here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this college without planning as I couldn't get a desired seat in IIT. But I think it was for good. The course is a wonderful primer on the path of becoming a scientist. Compared to other colleges, IISER Berhampur has a quite good faculty: student ratio. But most of them are pretty good as people and as teachers. We manage to conduct all classes without fail. But I'd like to see an increase in the number so that the research area can be broadened. The faculty here have all completed their Ph.D. and postdoc and all have some good prior experience in research and teaching. I like most of the instructors that have taught me except for a few one or two. The exam schedule is given right with the calendar release of each semester before the semester starts. Sometimes there might be changes in the schedule but we are informed around 2-3 weeks earlier in that case. Exams are not hard to pass if you attend classes and study sincerely. Questions are not asked beyond the concepts being taught.

Life at BGU

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.

All are good,but only fooding quality is below the level.And also it does not have any playground available to play outdoors games.only it have not a playground but this college have good class room,WiFi campus, Computer centre,canteen, language lab and hostel are there.

The eligibility criteria for this particular BJMC course is the student must be 10+2 pass with minimum 40%. You can the other details about the college, application and admission process in their respective webpage named as rimsedu.ac.in. . The examinations for BJMC is held on a yearly basis and for the other course it is semester wise regularly on basis of 6 months .
