Remarks

It is one of the most known college under Calcutta University. It has tie up with different big institutions and has remarkable professors and guest lecturers from high ranked B Schools. Regular seminars and events takes place in order to build the students for the future.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is up to the date, faculties are experienced and are from great institutions. Academics are well focused on. Seminars and knowledgeable presentations gave an extra edge from the typical classroom teaching.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunities are vast as Big companies like TCS, Hindustan lever, DLF, IBM, etc. Visits the college for quiz and debate events and even sponsors them. Students already gets groomed to take their jobs in their own hands.

College Events

Campus Life is good. Events are specially to look for. The annual event Umang gets a lot of attention throughout the city. Big superstars are welcomed as guests and inter college events are vast. Throughout the year there are sports tournaments to pubg and fashion competitions to dance and singing competitions. Every big event in the city or outside has us on the competitor's list.

Campus infrastructure is satisfactory. Sports arena and library are remarkable. Wifi is of good quality and labs and classrooms have nice equipped air conditioners and digital boards. Faculties were lineant and supportive

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

THERE ARE FAR BETTER OPTIONS

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me .
