It is internationally renowned and has a brand name all over the world. But it doesn?t provide basic facilities to students. The class strength is alot. Hence the teachers cant give individual attention and neither can focus on what they?re teaching. The classrooms are also small. The students don?t even have a place to sit even after 3 students sit on one bench. The process of handing out the roll numbers is very lengthy. Instead of doing it online, we have to stand in a long queue right outside the building gate of the college (the entire college is standing there at once). Class teachers are mostly absent without informing the students via mail or text. Management is not at all organized. Food in the canteen and cafeteria/ mess area is not hygienic. If you have a problem regarding anything, no professor has accurate information about anything. Every teacher will have a different answer to the same question. The NRI?s and International students were told that they were going to renew the building or construct a new college building which they are saying for the past 3-4 years and it still hasnt been done.

Course curriculum is good but the teachers arent really serious about it, hence even the students will be the same. The teachers stay absent in the class without informing via text or email. For extra curriculars, not alot of students are encouraged for participation in sports. And there is alot of partiality. For sports, we have to pay for the grounds whenever we go for practices and we also have to pay for playing the matches. The college doesnt fund all this. So if some student is financially not stable enough to pay 250/- or 500/- for every practice and every match, he/she cannot play.

I havent completed my degree to get a job yet. The placement process is just to clear all the interview rounds.

Campus life is good. The main Symboisis fest - symagine was held last year. But it wasn?t held last to last year as the principal didn?t give permission because we incurred losses the previous year. Symbiz was held which was an entrepreneural summit where alot of entrepreneurs gave their speeches and you can participate in various competitions.

Our college was established in 1983 and i dont know how old the building is. It is not rebuilt. The international students and NRI?s were told that they are gonna change the college building or renew it but it hasnt happened yet. They are saying this from the past 3-4 years now. We have no sports grounds except for volleyball. For other sports we have to pay for practicing and pay for playing the tournaments for the college. There is no free wifi for the college students which works but the hostel students are given free wifi in campus. The size of the library is very small if you compare it to the strength of all classes in Symboisis. There is no lab in our college.

Hostel infrastructure is good but the food quality is not that great. We do have quality control officers coming to check the quality of our food and taking reviews from the students about the food which is served in the hostel. But after a few weeks, the mess gives us the same food which they gave earlier after they improved the food for a little time.
