Remarks
Government College of Engineering Karad was one of the great government college in Maharashtra established in 1960. One of the main reason to take admission in this college is that it is autonomous college and placement in this year is also great.I am Electrical student & I got placed in two companies one software and one core.
Course Curriculum Overview
Syllabus was same as before in our time now some changes is made and it is updated for first year. There was Industrial mode in this year college has started for final year student. I have done internship in final semester as a curriculum in TATA Power.

Company name- Tata Power India Pvt LtdProfile-InternProcess- Our professor Mrs. Uma Patil madam and HOD Dr. Joshi sir helped to get internship. Also our college Alumni helped.
Placement Experience
Actually it was good in this year. I am last year electrical student. I got many opportunities to appear for many companies in pool campus as well as in campus. I am placed in Capgemini India Pvt Ltd and also in Adani electricity Mumbai Ltd. Our alumni also helped to get internship in reputed organization such as TATA Power, Tata motors,etc. Companies which visited our college are - Principal global, Torrent Power, Adani Power,JSW, Worley Jacobs,for electrical department. For IT Department as well as other departments company are - TCS, Capgemini, Sankey Solution, Jade global,wipro etc. For mechanical Fiat,JSW,etc.
College Events
Campus Life was very good. There were lot of events took place every year. One of them is Aavishkar in which student from different college take part. Every year there is annual function after the Aavishkar event.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship I availed is Rajashri shahu Maharaj scholarship in which half of tuition fee is given by government of Maharashtra. I have also availed Punjabrao nirvah bhatta scholarship in which monthly 2000 is given by government of Maharashtra. The scholarship is given in college according to the cast directions given by government of India.
Campus Life
There is sports ground for cricket and football, wifi facility is available in college campus as well in hostel. There is lacks of books in our library. The book bank is also given to students in every semester. Also 2 cards is given for 15 days book after that u can renew it or take new book. There is also digital library system.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility was not good in 2016 but now hostel facilities are upgraded now hostel is modified completely. And food is also very good in hostel mess. In hostel in one room 3 students are allowed. Average rent is 15000 annualy.
