This college is the best for engineering in any stream.I m a final year mechanical engineering student in Nit Kurukshetra. If I would have been in your place I would have opted for cs.After 4 years, looking from perspective of job opportunities, CS is far far better.After cs my second preference would be mechanical.

Class timing is 8.30 am to 4.30pm.two mid term exam occur in one sem and then final exams.teachers also give assignments. Method of teaching is good Overall experience is good.There are total 10 hostels and the fees are around INR 3000 for a semester.No PGs are available for stay. The meals here are costly and average mess bill for a month stays around INR 3000. The quality of classrooms are average but air conditioners are being installed in the classrooms. The library is big and spacious. WiFi is available in the library and academic section.

Internship from a reputed college is always beneficial for a career boost.But it largely depends upon the career path you want to take in the future.If you want to go for higher studies like PhD/M.Tech or any research field in computers then you must opt for this internship.It also depends upon the quality of professor under whom you are going for internship as there are only a handful of good professors in NIT kurukshetra.

Good placement. Placement are dream for us and dream comes true. Because placement cell is so hard working. They work too hard to invite companies for placements.Placement for branches CS IT ECE is fairly good as various tech giants like flipkart, amazon, microsoft visits campus for on-campus placements,Whereas for other branches like Mechanical, Civil placement is just average

There are a no. of clubs and societies in the campus to provide every student with a chance to discover their field of interest. There are dancing clubs like such, mad, NBC. There are activity clubs like sac and Anamika; educational societies like Shiksha and rooh. There is no lack of main festivals indeed. The talent show, Altius, utkarsh, techspardha, confluence, convocation, citrus and shikshangan are the various events that are held time to time for students to not get lost in the studies only. In general, the college life is going to be very great and most remembered time of your life.

I did not avail any loans, I was getting a scholarship of Rs.65000 per year, that was enough. Yes, STATE BANK OF INDIA provides loans, it's easy, it can be processed from inside campus bank branch.Also Scholarships are available to the top-ranked students in their respective branch by the college.

The college infrastructure is good but certain improvements are still going on. The classroom is appreciably good. The internet facility is satisfactory in the entire college. Also, the CCN (computing center) is open 24x7. The labs are under improvements with new computers coming in. The campus is way too good, green and well maintained.we almost have some 15-20 hostels, a big playground, swimming pool, libraries, health center etc.

Yes, hostels are good and cheap. Some of the buildings are 50-60 years old. But, good and clean, very well maintained. Mostly single rooms accommodation. No need of PG's. Hostels are enough, and comfortable, with high-speed internet facilities. Also have indor and outdoor playground in every hostel.
