Course Curriculum Overview
Well I have choosen electrical Engineering course because I love the physics behind it machines and electronics I love the curriculum Curriculum helps us to implement machine learning and AI into the role of a electrical engineer Improvement would be curriculum should be more towards competitive exams Exams are okay with frequency and difficulty level
Internships Opportunities
I haven't done the internship as I am enrolled in second year of my course and internships are offered by companies in third year of course . But I know the seniors who are offered internship but I don't know the role offered Generally stipend is around 20k .
Placement Experience
From 7th semester students are eligible to sit in the placement rounds A lot of companies visit our college Highest package in 2024-25 session is 63.12LPA and average package for the college is 13.21LPA and median package is 10 LPA Placements are 85.90 percent students are placed out of elegible students for placements I would be like to work in govt sector or private companies
Fees and Financial Aid
My category is general and the fees structure for my course is in 1st sem 109100,2nd sem 82900 then onwards even sem 88900 and odd sem 92700 This is the total fees I have mentioned now I will tell you 62500 tution fees per semester exam fees 1600 per semester library fees 1600 one time student activity fees 5500 per semester and institute development fees 3500 per semester
Campus Life
Technical Fest of college is Techspardha and cultural fest of our college is Confluence both are held in October or November month Books provided are focused on the curriculum Students have 24/7 access to library Classrooms are well facilitated as smartboards are introduced in the classes for better learning In campus several clubs are there for extracurricular activities Also sports ground is full of students in evening gym is also good Clubs and sports team have a lot of positive impact on student life
Hostel Facilities
In room a table chair bed almirah provided with fan in the room Meal quality is okay For registration and affordability student I'd card aadhar card and parents aadhar required Also the hostel dues should be paid.
Admission
I have applied for other nits as well but as I am from haryana and nit kurukshetra is the only nit in haryana so I have preferred as I am getting electrical branch here Home state is a main reason also getting electrical branch Admission process is through Josaa Counselling and through physical counselling at college Exams accepted for my college is Jee Mains
Faculty
Faculty to student relationship is good as most of the faculty give their 100 percent to teach the concepts to students Exams are much easier if we study well enough to cover the syllabus There are 3 exams in a semester two mid semester and one end semester
Night Life
Gym will be closed after 7:30 PM Cafeteria and market are closed after 8:30PM Campus in timings 10PM No hostel in timings for second year student onwards Brahmasarovar is quite famous place to visit and is 2km from the campus It is safe to roam at night
