Remarks

There was nothing special behind picking this college. I only chose this college because the college is easy to accommodate from my home. Moreover, some of my close friends took admission in this college. So choosing this college was completely personal.

Course Curriculum Overview

Regarding the course curriculum of B.Com in the new system, I'd only say about one subject i.e. Tax. The subject is detailed and in-depth that is a good thing for me. The academics of our college is very much poor and substandard. Classes are not conducted at all, so I think there is no question about any industrial exposure.

No Job Opportunities and placements are provided by the college. This is also another worst part of the college.

College Events

I spent an average campus life in my college. Genuinely No classes has been organized in our college after first year. So logically, I have not enjoyed the college life to that kind of extent. Cultural Festivals like Holi, Rabindra Jayanti, Saraswati Puja etc. have been organized in our college. In addition, there were seminars organized by our college on Taxation. No extracurricular activities are conducted in the college.

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure of our college is below average. Library is poor and there are no sufficient books and no computer facility. Wifi is there and the connection is average. Annual Football Game is organized by the college. The college has also a lab.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

My mysterious college life

I got selected for other colleges too for this course . But I took admission in this college over any other colleges because of the faulty that I have heard from my brother . Another reason is the location. Yes it's the another reason as it's really easy to find out this college . And our college is just 1 min away from the metro station gate no 3. And any bus is available from that place . The college rating is also good . I got rejected from 1 particular college but I've no regret for that .
