Remarks

College situated in a very good city and have good placement records and charge less tution fees comparing other colleges. Full wifi enabled campus is also one of the reason to take admission in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties of your college are very students friendly they always ready to help students one of the best thing of this college is that this college have adopted villages of rural areas and do some great works for the villages. There is cultural fest every year in the month October. Freshers and Orientation Day also celebrated for the new comers.

Top Pharma companies like Cipla, Sun Pharma are visiting our college and recruite many students from our college every year with good package. Not only Pharma Companies but big companies like Byjus, DoubtNut alsi recruits from our college with good packages.

College Events

Campus life in this college is very good. There is festive mood to all students from orientation day to freshers day for freshers. A college fest named PHARMA GAGGLE every year in the month of October. After the cultural fest there is football, cricket tournament for the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am getting Swami Vivekananda Merit cus Means scholarship of yearly 60k amount from West Bengal Government to study on this college. Many of my friends got scholarship of 30k per year from Central Government.

Campus Life

Our college building is a four storey building with a large seminar hall. Our college is equipped with good laboratory equipments though many equipments are not available but our college is buying them. There is a big medicinal garden nearby the college building. Our college also have two different hostels for boys and girls with 24*7 security.

Hostel Facilities

I have not opted for hostel as hostel offers only vagitarian foods. Hostel is wifi enabled. There are two Different hostels at two different places for boys and girls. There are different different buildings for senior and junior students. The hostel and college is 100% ragging free.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
