Availability of my desired course, my cousin is an alumni of the university and the location also played a role. It's located on mussoorie road and is only 20km from mussoorie. Paid reviews on internet played the biggest role
Course Curriculum Overview
Honestly, almost every private engineering college is on the same boat and so is this one. All they want is the paymeny of fee and then everyone sleeps.ADMINISTRATION IS A DISASTER WITH NO KNOWLEDGE OF MANAGEMENT.ARROGANT IS WHAT DEFINES THEM. They forced the students to collect there belonging from hostel or they would take the authority, during the Covid lockdown.Faculty is a mixed bag but no faculty will refuse to help you if you ask them.Curriculum is very average and nothing special infact it's not upto the mark.They charge more fee for specialisation course right from first yr. but I only encountered single subject of specialisation that too in 3rd yr. Don't know why they charge all that additional fee from first year.
Placement Experience
if you join because you saw 25 LAKH placement.boom. it was out-campus placement.elete companies like AMAZON, MICROSOFT. don't visit here. mostly students are placed in tcs or infosys or tech Mahindra.If you have studied and have skills you will be placed. Placements are ok ok but not really fantastic.no better than other colleges.
College Events
Campus Life is quite ok.we only have 2 major fest YOUTHOPIA (Technical and cultural fest)SPHURTI (sports)Other then this we we have club specific competitions and other events.some summit.YOUTHOPIA is the most awaited event and it's awsm.But it's the only one.well most students enjoy in cafeteria or Maggi point or mussoorie. there's nothing much to enjoy in campus.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is good but campus is very small.There is no definite space for sports specially if you play football or cricket.Wifi is ok ok.Library is wonderful.Lab equipments are good.Overall if they managed to get some space for sports, which I know they can.it would be really good
Hostel Facilities
Campus Life is good for boys but harsh for girls.Boys: can do anything.no in or out time.can order from swiggy or Zomato.Girls: very strict in and out time.can't order from Zomato or swiggy and even from college cafeteria.CANT WALK INSIDE THE HOSTEL PREMISES AFTER 9PMI mean you can't even walk inside the hostel gates past 9pm and you have to be in your rooms only.
