Remarks

The college is famous & holds quite a good reputation. It has interesting programs going on excluding the academics. There are many fests & annual gathering to participate in. The college provides many external courses & opportunities, in every aspect.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Bhawanipur Education Society College is one of the best college in Kolkata for those who wants to pursue Bcom (H). as their career. Our college is very reputated & has recognition all over the country. It gives you a great platform to meet different opportunities. Ranked #1 B-school in West Bengal. The faculty here is very helpful, always filling us in with enough information needed.

The Bhawanipur Education Society College has a placement cell, their career resource centre always helps student, enhancing their skills in interviews. Also our college offers their very own guidance counselor to contact whenever in need. It enjoys a very high placement record. Many big companies like Oracle, Deloitte, Axis Bank, Indigo etc. visits our college for placement.

College Events

The Bhawanipur Education Society College gives a very wide scope of extra curriculum activities. One of the biggest college fest event 'Umang' is its very own college annual fest. There are so many celebrities who visited our college. The college has a lots of clubs to join & find your passion. The campus is packed with students. Our college always provides us with more than enough workshops & seminars about different fields which is very effective.

Campus Life

All the Classes are air conditioned & has long benches. Classrooms are provided with smart teaching projectors & equipments. It has a sports Arena, canteen & a spacy library. Many auditoriums for different programs participation. Also has lifts for convenience. Our college network works very fluently. The students are much awared about what is going on in college through SMS & Email. The college also owns a website where they maintain a dashboard containing the where abouts.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me .
