Remarks

Extra Curricular benefits. More space for future aspect examinations like CAT, UPSC, CA, CS, FRM, CFA, etc Special Trainings for Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Management Skills enhancements. Also organises largest college youth fest in Kolkata which is "Umang".

Course Curriculum Overview

Every aspect is at its best but they don't give you practical marks even if you work hard on that. They will give average practical marks to everyone. They charge high fees still it is unexpected from such reputed college.

College Events

My college is famous for it's events and extracurricular activities. There is no college fest in which The BESC haven't ranked among the Top 3. We the best in terms of every aspect in this Avenue. We have large no. Of celebrity promotions too in our college which is highest in Kolkata.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our College, back in my fresh year granted scholarships of 100% fees refund to those who have scored more than 80% in WBCHSE and more than 90% in ISC and CBSE. Also they promised to refund 80% of the fees for next two years too.

Campus Life

Best College in terms of Infrastructure in West Bengal. Huge Library, Huge Sports Arena, 7-8 Auditoriums, a canteen, a Turf, two Knowledge addas where students can hangout. Also Toilets are like from 5Star hotels.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me .
