Remarks

Word of mouth was great about this University. Also, the placement records were getting better with each year. The syllabus was also more advanced than MAKAUT. So I opted for UEM. After spending a year, I am satisfied with my decision.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is highly updated. We are being taught cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Python has been made a regular part of our curriculum as it is trending. Also, we are being trained for exams like GATE, CAT etc.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 584000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements are great. If you work hard, you are bound to have job offers by the end of your college life. From reputed big names to fresh start-ups, UEM brings in numerous companies during placements.

College Events

UEM is a bit more strict than other colleges. Rules and regulations are always maintained. However, you'll have a lot of fun. The University has several clubs like Pragya (Quiz Club), Symphony (Music Club), Ultimators (Dance Club), Toastmasters, Rotaract etc. URECKON and ECSTASIA are the two fests of UEM, where we enjoy a lot.

Campus Life

UEM has 3 large buildings, each 5 stories high. There are high quality laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Bio-technology, Language, Mechanics and Computer. the whole University remains under CCTV surveillance. We have a large air-conditioned cafeteria. Campus remains cleaned. Washrooms are great with automated water taps.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Excellence with good culture of academic and infrastructure

If frustration would have a definition.

If you want to join ths college you have give IEMJEE (their own admission exam) or through WBJEE Exam. But don't worry pal half of it's admission is done by management quota and rest of the seat is seal by external broker.
