Remarks
What attracted me most about this college is that we have complete flexibilty to choose our own timings, faculties and subjects. No other institute in India provides this. I also had missed the JEE exams and so i knew i had to take up admission in some private institute as i did not want to waste a year or go to Kota for coaching. I have always loved coding and working with computers and so when i saw i had a chance to study CSE at Chennai, i took it.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course syllabus is updated very frequently with inputs from various industry people. Majority of our faculties already have a good working experience both in the industry and in teaching and so they know very well what has to be taught and how.Industrial exposure. Yes We have industry visits planned in relation with the subject for almost all of them. The faculties here are mixed. You have some who are super strict and want everything done according to them but most of them are sweet and relaxed.Mr. Milind S dangate, our chemistry prof in the first sem, who is also the head of student welfare is super chill and sweet teacher and you'd be really lucky to have him as your faculty for any subject.
Placement Experience
As Im in my third year, we've already been asked for internships and other such oppurtunities. Most of my seniors have already been placed even with the lockdown happeneing.VIT stays true to its "100% placements" statement
College Events
Campus life for boys is laid back. Unlike the 7pm intime for girls, there is a 9pm curfew for boys but you can always find reasons to stay out.Vibrance the cultural event is a lot of fun and is 3 days filled with energy and dance and party. Technical event, Technovit is equally fun. Since i am a part of a few technical clubs, our work is more during technovit as we take part in several comptetions
