1. The brand name of the college- it is one of the top institutions in india and has secured 7th ranking this year by a report by NIRF. Having attended a good college where great personalities such as Mr. Saurav ganguly been part of always helps one.2. College timings- the timings are from 6 to 10 in the morning which gives u a lot of time to prepare for some other courses throughout the day.3. Faculty- the faculty with some of them having experience over 10-15 years in teaching is great and really helpful.4. Best college in kolkata- since i wanted to stay in kolkata it was the best institute i could choose in comparison to other colleges in the city.5. Peers- the college cut offs are generally very high, therefore mainly students with a good academic background are part of the college6. Extra curricular- the college puts a lot of emphasis on co curricular activites and has many college socities and cells which you can be a part of and make the college more fun7. placement and job opportunites are plenty and some of the big firms have come to hire students
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was very good. Since the college followed an autonomous way of setting the syllabus, it helped the students pursuing CA a lot. As most of the syllabus for accounts and others was in sync to the syllabus for the internal college exams. This helped these students a lot. Also, practical asignments and seminars gave a lot of exposure and other development of an individual. the faculty was good, Father Savarimuthu, our EVS teacher was a very good techer as he tried to make the class as interactive as possible.

College Events
The campus life is great. The college organises one of the biggest eastern india cultural fest Xavotsav and the biggest international level management fest Insignia.Other than these there are lot of festivals which are held in the collegethe fests have around 50000 footfall every year.There is sports day and indoor competitions which are also held.
Campus Life
The campus is not very good. Some of the classrooms are air conidtioned but some of them are not. The ones without AC only have fans which are not very good and the benches used for study are very old with holes and cracks in it. Also, the ventiliation is not good in the rooms. Howver, each classroom has a powerpoint projection facility,The library is very good with a good range of lot of books for academics and reading purposes. Every student has a unique ID to access the books. There is a self kiosk which avoids manual way of suscribing books. There are separate rooms for quiet reading as well.The college has practical labs as well with good computers and also a huge playground, auditorium, basketball court.
