Remarks

I chose this college because due to a good transport facility from my house to the college, secondly I have heard of the good faculty members of the college and also about its good environment and atmosphere of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus of B A general is updated every year and the faculty members are very supportive and helpful regarding each and every students problem regarding the students and proper study materials are provided to us.

Class Size: 27Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Placement Experience

Unfortunately our college doesn't provide such opportunities for direct exposure to job sectors but surely our college is strictly working on that part and surely within some months our college will be having the facility of internship and more better exposure to job sectors.

Our college organises many celebration and events and those include- Foundation Day celebration, Rabindra jayanti celebration, Annual sports and annual program, webinars and seminars are also held. And a large number of students participate in these events and celebratios.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I choose this college because it's nearby my house it saved me money and the college is reputed with NAAC grade B+. The admission process is very easy if your selected you can check your name in the list pay directly through that portal or their own website and can reserve your seat.
