Remarks
The transport connectivity to the college was good and the teaching faculty for the subject which I opted for was good as well. All my coaching centres were near to my college as well, thus I could go to my college directly, right after attending the coaching classes. Near my college is College Street which is a place where one can find any book that he/she requires, be it books or magazines on GK or books for the Graduation courses( Brand-New or Used).
Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus is just fine and it is updated enough. No we weren't provided with industrial exposure. The faculties are just amazing because their greatest plus point is that they can explain almost any topic with some sort of analogous example taken from our day to day life and that makes understanding the topic not only easy but interesting too.
Placement Experience
Since my college does not provide placements in companies after completion of the graduation course the job opportunities for a particular student varies. It varies on the basis of what the student wants, that is if he/she wants to join a service or company( which may be related to the graduation subject or maybe not) right after the completion of the graduation they can do that or else pursue higher education and enter into a research field, which is related to the subject of the graduation course.
College Events
My college organises a Fresher's welcome party every year on the occasion of new students joining the college each year. The party features guest performance by a celebrity artist/group. When I was a freshie the celebrity music band in the Fresher's party was 'Fossils'. The college also celebrates Saraswati pooja every year, but I have never attended it.
Campus Life
The campus infrastructure is well built and we'll organized. There's a canteen and there's a central lawn where one can play badminton, street football(3-a side) and street cricket. It lacks a big ground, for which almost every sports concerned student of our college feels sad about.
