Remarks
VIT was the only college offering an industry based learning platform that really excited me. I had visited Chennai earlier and had gone to see the campus when i was in 11th and had immidiatly fallen in love with it.SInce im an introvert, i actually preferred chennai over vellore due to its large crowd.I was initially confused whether to go for core cse or a spealized course but then talking to some of the faculties before my counselling really helped. The helpful nature of the faculties or admin people made my decision only stronger.
Course Curriculum Overview
In my first sem, my faculty for EEE ie the basic electrical course, was extremely sweet and helpful. All faculties here are really good and have a lot of knowledge to give as long as you dont get them mad. Being on their wrong side will not help for sure. The course syllabus is pretty updated. As my father works in the industry, he also commented on how updated the curriculum was and how its on par with the current software industry.
Placement Experience
As much as i've heard from seniors, the campus placements as well as internship opportunities are really good. Majority of the seniors that i know and thatI'm in contact with have already been placed with dream or super dream packages.
College Events
The festivals are really very good. During both the cultural and technical fests, there are various clubs you could be a part of and help make the events a success. I myself was in one of the technical schools "qubit" which ended up winning as the best school in TechnoVit'19.
