Remarks

Educational environment, regular classes, library facilities, hostel, aoprts, law fest, seminars, conferance, teachers are too much helpful in studies, students are enthusiastic enough. almost everything is perfect

It's being up to date It offers the Bachelor of Laws or B.A LL.B degree course with LL.B. Honours for five years integrated degree programme as the under-graduate degree programme in law under the University of kalyani. The present course is based on 10 semester and approved by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education as well as Bar Council of India (BCI).

Campus Life

Every facilities are provided. The institute was established by Sikkim Bengal Education Trust in 2004 on the campus of Kalyani University. It is named after Snehansu Kanta Acharya Bar-at-Law, the former Advocate General of the Government of West Bengal, known for his contributions in the field of law and politics. The college was inaugurated on 30 June 2004 by Mr. Jyoti Basu, Ex Chief Minister of West Bengal.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
