Remarks

I chose this college named NIT Kurukshetra because it was the best and top college based on my rank in which I was getting civil engineering. I like the fests, infrastructure and placement of the college very much.

Course Curriculum Overview

Civil Engineering here is good. The curriculum is updated and the course is divided into eight semesters with three Examination being in each semester. There is Internship mainly for CSE and IT. Though we can also do it. The faculty members are expert in their domain of study and my favourite professor is Dr Ashutosh Kamboj sir.

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 62500 per year

Placement Experience

Companies like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Airtel, Hero, Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung, Pharmeasy et cetra visit the NIt campus for recruitment. The highest package offered last year has been 40 lakh per annum to a CSE student. There is T n P cell in college. The alumni are famous well known personality in India.

College Events

The campus is very beutiful and clean and green. It is amazing and enjoyable. Techspardha, Confluence, Independence day, Republic day, Gandhi Jayanti etc are celebrated here. The first two fests received a large participation.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards you'll be eligible for campus placements. Many companies visits are college such as adobe, nippo, airtel etc.. Avg package is around 6lpa Almost 70-85% are getting placements.

I chose this college due to its ranking and the overall atmosphere of the college and also the reviews or various alumni who are in good positions today. I did apply to other NITs like NIT Bhopal, NiT Surat, NIT Allahabad and others but didn't get confirmation of admission due to rank factor and spot rounds. Due to this I didn't secure admission in other colleges. Nit kkr: one of the best nit in North India
