College is recommended for all rank holders in BTECh and MBA who are seeking admissions in private colleges in west Bengal.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am currently working as a Software Professional engineer. Course curriculum covers all engineering and computer science courses.Course follows WBUT curriculum. WBUT exam curriculum is more research driven. All are not required in industrial knowledge. Computer Science curriculum is very extensive.

Course Fees: INR 22000 per year

Placement Experience

Good. Placement Drives are best in town compared to other private colleges. Pre placement preparation classes are held to clear interviews.

College Events

Rendezvous College annual fest. Teachers Day. Vishwakarma Puja, Saraswati Puja are celebrated annually. Sometimes College holds exhibitions on science as well. Atleast 50 percent students participation is present. Good entertainment is there. Music bands are hired to perform in these events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. Fees structure is updated annually. Please check current fees. Admission quota is reserved for students not able to clear any competitive exams. The fees for them is 50 percent extra than what qualified students pay.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. SCHOLARSHIP IS NOT GIVEN IN OUR COLLEGE. Educational loan was not required for me. But College helps in case u need loan through tie up in banks.

Campus Life

Good extracurriculars. Robotics is not introduced. Gender ratio is good and better than government colleges. No ragging is held for new comers.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. Alumni of every batch in btech is created.MBA students also invited with MCA students. Btech students are very helpful and have good placements. U get good help from seniors for placements.

Admission

Through WB JEE all state rank exam for BTech entrance. This College is mainly recommended for students aspiring for IT and electronics stream. Other streams are not that good. College also gives MBA and MCA degrees. But B.C Roy engg College is mainly best in town for IT and electronic Btech degree.

Faculty

Very Good and Interactive. Strict and disciplined. Faculties are hired from government colleges mandatorily. All teachers are hired who are mandatorily MTECh or MBA from government colleges. There are few teachers who are also PHD degree holders. Faculty also ensures 100 percent course coverage in college hours only.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
