Remarks

Placements are exceptional. Last time many good companies like Markit and ZS Associates came for interviews and campus selection

Course Curriculum Overview

This is one area which requires improvement as the curriculum structure is a bit out dated. While the faculty is excellent, the courses should include more practical and vocational courses, as being done in colleges like Amity. The extra curricular activities are limited. Courses like AI and robotics may be introduced

Placement Experience

4.5

BVP is considered as one of the best colleges, as compared to all the other colleges affiliated within IP University, as far as placements is concerned. Off late, its worth is being recognized and many companies have started visiting it - almost around 20-30. These include some big names like ZS Associates, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, IBM,,Markit etc. The average package offered is 4LPA. Around 80-85% of students get placed every year. College ensure that ample infrastructure and facilities are in place, during these sessions.

College Events

4

Both cultural and Technical fests are carried out every year.Technical fest allow students to showcase their innovative ideas. Cultural fest is more fun and relaxing. It is attended by a reasonable number of participants but not as grand and big as something in DU, IIT or DCE

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was quite reasonable. The average cost per year was around 1.2 Lakhs. This was much less than what some of the other colleges were charging at that time. As far as transparency is concerned, the entire fee details were duly shared in advance with clear breakup

Fees and Financial Aid

No the scholarship facilities are not available. My father financed the complete amount from his own savings

Campus Life

The gender ratio is a little uneven with 70:30, in favor of boys. The campus size is not big but ok. The classrooms, labs are air conditioned and well equipped as far as infrastructure is concerned. The library is quite big and and provides ebooks as well. There is also a large ground where one can play Football and Cricket. The overall environment is very healthy.

Hostel Facilities

No, we did not opt for the hostel. The hostel was only available for girls located within the campus. Howeverm I heard good review of it. I took a noncollege hostel located around 4 km from the campus and the average annual cost was around 78K

Alumni/Alumna

Overall experience has been very good. We also have a whatsapp group where all alumni are connected and share ideas and advices

Admission

I did my schooling from Mount Carmel School. Applied for IIT and DCE but could not get through. Secured top rank in Amity and BVP. Since some of my colleagues had already had a very positive experience with the college and I was getting computer science and engineering which is what I aspired for, I opted for the college. Proximity to my home was also one of the important factors, although I opted for a non-college hostel to gain experience.

Faculty

4

Faculty member were very good and helpful. The attendance is given a lot of importance in the college. Prolonged absence can result in staff directly contacting the respective wards for explanation. Few professors were M. Tech and a few others with PhD degree as well. Overall, a fine balance of very senior and young faculty.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. Talking about the areas of improvement and teaching methods there are none. The exams of the respective subject are to happen. They take test 1 , test 2 and there is final exams.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
