Remarks

There was no significant bad remarks against my college. It was good for sports, studies and food.

Course Curriculum Overview

During my college studies I concentrated mostly on intercollegiate body building competitions. My aim was to become national level bodybuilder in inter university competitions. There was no big support from my parents for to achieve that aim. I aimed to get the placements under sports man quota. I concentrate in studies lesser than sports. Our exam structure are in semesters. Two semesters per year.

Placement Experience

1.5

There was no internships for undergraduates. I concentrated in bodybuilding rather than studies. After my graduation I tried post graduation in chemistry. I couldn't get. After sometime I change my carrier into hospitality industry. I joined catering management.

College Events

4

I was a singer and made some comedy programs in cultural events. I won best singer in the hostel. I won best comedy program such as criticizing television advertisements and mimicry. Singing competitions made me to work in professional orchestras after my college days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Semester fees are moderate at that time for arts & science courses. Payments are done by cash/cheque/ Demand draft. There was no capitation fee or financial quotas in our college. Admissions are made by merit based on mark sheet, interview and by recommendations. A good consideration was available for sports man.

Fees and Financial Aid

Only one time I received scholarship at the for my backward class caste. The amount is about 900 rupees. Afterwards nothing.

Campus Life

My college campus is very big and it have two big hostels for day college students inside the campus and one for the evening college students, just outside the campus. It was located just opposite to trichy Rock fort temple. So the college life for the hostel students was good by visiting to the temple. Usually I went to the gym in the evenings except Sundays. Occasionally I visit to the temple with my friends.

Hostel Facilities

I was stayed in single, double rooms. Room facilities are moderate. Bath rooms are common one. No attached bath room. It got play ground inside. The mess fees based on dividing the monthly cost. The total mess and hostel fees per month was 450-500 rupees. The quality of the food is best in taste and hygiene.

Alumni/Alumna

My seniors are helpful to develop my singing talent, bodybuilding and athletics. After graduation, I tried post graduation in chemistry. No seats available. So I left my college and after sometimes I joined in Catering management course.

Admission

It was well known for good education. I got the admission on 1990. There was no entrance exams for chemistry course. I was selected on the basis of marks and by recommendations. My native place thoothukudi got lot of chemical industries like SPIC, TAC, KILBURN and STERLITE COPPER. So my parents insist me to select this course.

Faculty

3.5

I had around ten professors. Their teaching skills are good and very strict. Their age range from 30 to 55. Most of them are former students of the college. As a sports man, I concentrated mostly in bodybuilding. Some of my professors gave me a support to win university titles.
