I think the management should strengthen their job role. They should invest on labs and fundings so that students can work on their projects without any hindrance.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is a pharmacy college. The college is very much education oriented and has research based background. We were definitely provided with industry specific knowledge and every year we have 100% placements. Industrial visit is a part of our curriculum. We are taken to Sikkim for various industrial visits.
Placement Experience
We have 100% placement in our college and I got my job from College placement itself. I sat for 3 reputed companies and got through all. We are also provided with internships. I did my internship from GLUCONATE HEALTH LIMITED, Kolkata. We are also provided with grooming classes before our placement.
College Events
We organize technical fest and cultural fest where artists and singers are hired from outside. We also organize National conferences where scientists from all across the country are invited. Infact students from all across the country comes and participate in our events. Rest, small cultural activities are also organized.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college provides transparency in fee breakdown. The entire fee for four years is 4 lakh per annum. This includes mess charges and hostel fee. The fee is feasible as compared to other private institutions. The fee also includes library fee, examination fee, caution money, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
I availed student loan from SBI. It was not provided by my college. I had opted on my own. I took 4 lacks loan for my education
Campus Life
The gender ratio is 2:3 (girls: boys). They come from different communities and religion and races. We also had entrepreneurship cell. Our college was free from any political status or ragging. We had debate competitions and Elocution contests as well.
Hostel Facilities
Yes I had opted for hostel. Girls hostel had G+3 floors. Each floor had 8 rooms. There was one common room. One gym. One dining hall. One guest room and one matrons room. The food and everything was okayish but it was clean enough.
Alumni/Alumna
Our alumni network is strong and very helpful as well. They are well placed and in reputed institution
Admission
I got admission in this College through WBJEE entrance examination. We had our counseling and slot selection procedures. I got this College in second round of the selection procedure. There was document verification initially when we had our counseling for which we had to pay 20000. Then we were called for interview and finally admission was done.
Faculty
Each year we are provided with more than 500 lectures. It's a four year degree course. All the faculties are PhD holders from a reputed organization. Some of them even possess 10-15 years of industrial experience. All the faculties are highly qualified and some of them even hold patents. Their average age is 40
