Kongu engineering college is one of best college for better future. The bad thing is, simply saying it's not college it's a school.
Course Curriculum Overview
Yeah, the curriculum was very good and it was very useful to our carrier. While completing our course we will have the self confident about our future. They have arranged many industrial visits. Campus placements was too good in Kongu engineering college.
Placement Experience
Since our college is dot one college, there is no fear on placements. More than 20 leading companies will come for placements. Initially all the software companies will visit for placements. More 90 percentage of students will get placed while completing the course.
College Events
Sports day will be heldAnnual day will be held. Department functions will be handled by final year students with the help of juniors.Since our college is having south india's largest auditorium, the function will be more grand. Every function holds more than 6000 members in a single auditorium.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee will be feasible to pay. For management students, the fees will be around 1 lak per yr ND for placement students the fees will be around 60 thousand. There will be no additional charges collected at the middle. Fees should be paid once per year and it should at the starting of the course.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I didn't opted for any scholarships. But it's easy to get education loan for our studies. Since we are confident about out placements we don't need to worry about our loan repayment. The agriculture scholarships would be 10 thousand per year. Bc scholarships would be 8 thousand per year.
Campus Life
Gender ratios would be 50:50 ratio. Girls and boys were not allowed to speak in the campus unnecessaryly. But we can collaborate and work in all extracurricular activities. The labs and equipments will be too good. We can go to outside colleges for paperwork and exhibitions. More extracurricular activities will be held for each functions. More importance will be given to spirts.
Hostel Facilities
No I was not studied in hostel. But most of my friends were studied by staying in hostel. One room can accommodate 4 members. The rooms were clean and neat. No mobile phones were allowed. Girls were not supposed to go out after 7 pm.
Alumni/Alumna
Yeah, seniors will be more helpful for our studies and other works. They will share their knowledge and experience whenever needed. They will help in our placements. They will guide us in good way.
Admission
Interested in food processing. Also I would like to learn things which should be useful to our lifestyle.In future getting a hygienic is is going to be a big challenge. So I would like learn about the proceeding methods. So that at least I can help my surroundings from unhygienic practices.
Faculty
Yeah, the lectures have pretty much experience and knowledge in handling the subjects. They will guide us in better way for our great future. The age might comes from 27 to 50.The lectures have better industrial experience since most of them have doing their PhD.
