Remarks
CHM college premise is very filthy, no good ambience, small building, But it's very close to the Ulhasnagar railway station. I'm pursuing a professional course and this college is not very strict about attendance, quite lenient and that's the maine reason why I chose this college. Also, the teachers here are fine and seem to be helpful jn nature. CHM grading system is quite amazing! They're not kanjoos in giving marks That's the main highlight !! Overall the college is not so awesome.... Infrastructure has to be improved. They do not encourage any caste students except sindhis.... For them only sindhis and open are the two category of students. Their website is the worst... They keep on directing you to third party stupid websites... The merit lists were never released on time and website doesn't provide enough info. I referred to college duniya whiles selecting this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
B.com is a great course as it is not rigid and binding like other courses , you can easily swipe to another course later. Few teachers in chm make full use of technology like Haresh Budhrani sir for accounts, who is a CA himself. He uses Google classroom. Many teachers are PhD holders and great to learn from. 1 teacher teaches roughly a class of 150 students on zoom. Exams are very easy to crack and due to chandi festival, you almost skip and exam! Question banks are very short and nothing beyond question bank is asked in the exam.
Placement Experience
Very few offers are available around 2-3 companies visit every year. Students are eligible after the second year of the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am a fresh student here but i know students who were placed by the campus. Not very high stipend or very great companies. Don't expect much. Fees for Bcom is the same in almost every college, fixed by Mumbai university i.e 6,000 for Fybcom per year. I'm not sure about scholarship. I think they don't exist here. You'll surely get some discounts on railway pass.
Campus Life
Chandi fest is celebrated every year around the second unit test, during diwali. Books are not in plenty... Classrooms are dusty and you find dogs coming in and of course reptiles are frequent guests. There is a NSS unit and am not sure about sports. No such website.
