Course Curriculum Overview

4

They should definitely improve the teaching quality using good digital boards the boards are very bad and broken.there should be more time given for students for the exams since they only keep 15 days diff for the internal and external exams.

Internships Opportunities

3

There were some unpaid internships regarding IT and software which was given opportunity for the students.they do mention alot of internships which are without stipend which makes students loose their intrest in the subject.i have never accepted an internship from the college

Fees and Financial Aid

25000/- per year for two semesters including exams and laboratory fees in it they only provide scholarships to sc/st people.complete course fees is approx 78000. People of sc/st/obc only pays like 2000? yearly which makes us very difficult to afford 25k per year

Campus Life

4

Campus is very good and very big hughe count of members can sit there and chill.we have chandi utsav every year at the end of december in which we get different culutural events.every faculty even get their own fest for example we get IT fest.there are also do many groups and club's present in our college

Admission

I have applied to 3-4 different colleges just because of the travelling system and farness of the college i had to take admission in this college.the admissions process starts from online form submission to going there for verification of docs and online payment once it is done you are ready..one should have atleast 50 or above marks in mathematics and IT in 12th to become eligible for IT course

Faculty

2

There are 120 students in my course.thats a lot of crowd present there.faculty members are a bit lazy they do ask for money for every paperwork they have to do of students.I dont like the non teaching staff siting at the student administrative office they are very lousy at talking.there are 6 exams conducting for bscIT 2 internals 2 theory and 2 practicals they are quite an easy task as compared to higher level

Night Life

4

Gym and cafeteria are most crowded places in our vollege they do serve pretty good for students.library is even big too having every type of books present.the campus timings are from 7 am to 7pm.famous spots to hangout are cafeteria backside of gym and campus and the area is totally safe beacuse it has gurudwara and railway station just in front of rhe gate which keeps the road busy

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
