VIT Pune one of the best colleges in Pune

This college has ranks quite good on basis of Private Institutes. They have the best Extra curricular activities compared to all Pune institutes. Autonomy is the plus point and I got to know about VIT Pune from my cousin who's an alumni of VIT pune. Well you'll find the infrastructure is not that attractive or satisfying in the starting days but eventually you'll get used to it and start loving this college. I opted this college through Cap round on the consideration of my JEE Mains marks. Admission process is quite easy it takes hardly 2-3 hours. In you First year you'll be having general proficiency named subject which has amazing extra curricular activities to do and are conducted like I had Guitar in my first year. This college was referred to me by my cousin as she's one of the alumni as I mentioned above.

I choose Electronics engineering. Do this branch is now converted to electronics and telecommunication I mean the seats are extended in ENTC and this electronics engineering branche is dissolved. Is division consists of 60 to 80 students. Basically the college offers two shifts first one is the morning shift and second one is the evening shift only for specific branches which are Computer science ENTC & Mechanical. It is got an good set of teachers. Most of the faculties have completed their PhD that is that doctorate. some of the teachers are lenient while some teachers are very specific to the process that is it depends on the nature of that particular teacher but I will say on an average the most of the teachers are quite good and I will suggest to go for computer science branch as they have high ratio of getting placed with great value of package per year.It depends on how the exams are going to be conducted in year, I'll say exams are of average difficulty.

College does offers a lot of internship opportunities as this college offers B Tech degree hence in the 4th year we have an option to go for a semester long internship and so companies start coming to our campus in the third year to offer us internships and if you perform great in that internship probably you get placed in that company before completing your fourth year that's a plus point relative to other colleges.

Most of the placements are related to computer science and data science hence I will suggest to opt these branches. call to be honest most of the placements are related to coding but also the placements are available in core subjects like in Electronics or mechanical and other branches which are offered by VIT. An average package for an computer science student is 9 to 10 lacs and also companies do offer a package of 20 lacs and phone pay recently offered a package of 32 lacs even Microsoft offers package of 40 to 45 lacs conditions are applied as per the company and their rules. I don't know what's the percentage for the students who get placed tiles a good branches to have a percentile of 70 - 80 to get placed. I am an electronics engineer do we have an offer to go for coding companies and get placed with the salary in between 6 to 8 lacs annually but I want to proceed my career in core electronics and so I am thinking to go for higher studies instead of getting placed in IT company

Fees is relatively quite high if you compare it with other institutes near VIT or which are in Pune. Do you do have a lot of opportunities for the scholarships on the basis of caste category and there's also and scholarship called EBC which is for open category. EBC scholarship is for the general students annual income is less than 8 lacs and these category students get a scholarship of 50% on the tuition fees. you can go for an educational loan for financial assistance and also in your fourth year you will get stipend for getting an internship and probably you can get a PPO offer and and you might get placed before you complete your 4th year

Well it's amazing the campus is very small, at first you might think that it's very small because you will compared it with other institutes but to be honest in sometime you will get used to this college. The college is situated on a small consider a hill and so its on a higher altitude altitude. You had a great view if you go on the college's terrace. College conducts lot of events in a year they have Melange, Vishwakarandak, Vishwaotsav, MUN, TEDx, Vishwaconclave, etc and have lot of different Clubs like Viculp,Music, poetry, coding, Robotics ,etc
