Review of my college

This college is considered to be the best in the eastern region of the west bengal. The infrastructure, labs, classroom all are of high quality, having extraordinary facility, along with the projector for better understanding. All the teacher and the technical stuffs are friendly and are ready to help you, whenever need. The college is basically like a college, not very strict, you can find it at ease to deal with in any case. But, the overall campusing is really very badonly for our core departments, e.g. Mechanical Engineering. Most of the students, go to the TCS or IT based industries or some of them go to puruse higher studies. While, selecting, this college came to my mind, after about this college from many of my elder friends and brothers, and told me that, in private colleges, this is the best, one can assure. The admission process is same as that for the other colleges. I took admission through my GMR via WBJEE, in my very 1st counselling.

I have a lot of interest in Fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, the construction of aeroplane, ships, etc. Mechanics always suprizes me, whenever I deal with it. Besides, to be involved with different types of machines, and the theory behind their operations, etc are the reasons, why I opted this branch. ~ Mother of all Engineering. The faculty is really very good and friendly enough. They all teach as many times as they can, until and unless, noone has any doubts and the coordination between the teacher and the students are really very impactful and stable. If you study well, then, you don't need to look the other things. Marks will automatically come, withput anxiety and worriedness. All the faculty members are highly educated. Most of them are either from IIT's or NIT's, or JU, IIEST, Foreign universities, etc. Most of them are Ph.D holders and majority of them are having the master degree. There is a lot of company that offers the i ternship,specially in the 3rd and in the 4th year. Like, TATA steel, HCL, Indian Railway, TCS, Fortis Hospital, Gardenreach Shipbuilder and Engineering, etc. And , the stipend is about ?20,000 to ?30000 on average basis. The projects are basically comes out to be in the termination phase of their i ternships, which completely focuses on their practical knowledge, gained by the students from the internship.

The overall placements to our department is very poor. More or less, approximately 30 or 40% students get placed either in IT companies or in TCS. And, the rest go to pursue higher studies. From 3rd year, the students become eligible for the campusing. The famous companies, that come to our college in every year are TCS, Wipros, Capgemini, Ashok Leyland, L & T, HCL, etc. The highest package in our branch is 6 LPA and the minimum is 3 LPA and the average is 4 LPA. I want to get placed in any of the core industry, to be able to explore my knowledge as expandable as I can. That's why, I want to go for off campus job and to sit for written exam and interview, to those companies which recruit freshers without experience. Or, else I will do the higher studies.

The average semester fees for this course is ?45,000 and the overall fees for the total four year is ?3,92,000. The students can afford this course, of they are interested indo so or else, they can take the educational loan. Unfortunately, finding scholarship is really very difficult in college. You have to be extremely meritorious to find such scholarships. I, didn't find any scholarships, till now. And, there is no stipend, as well.

The campus life is just outstanding that can't be described in words. If you firstly go to the college, then the beauty of the campus will attract your eyes for sure. The annual fest basically hold in the month of December and the tech fest in June. One can participate in various occasion to earn rewards and to reflect those rewards in the credit points.The tech fest in our college is the biggest of all in the eastern zone. Variety of singers and artists come and perform and make the fest electrifying. The classroom are well made, along with the projector facility. The labs, workshop all are of high quality and modified instruments. The classrooms, labs all are neat and clean enough. One can involve in varieties of sports, if they want to. Cricket, football, hockey, badminton, basketball, etc amd chess, carrom, etc games and sports are available, along with four huge grounds. No, no there is no GD or interview or anything like that. Once, you get the college, through counselling (JEE main / WBJEE), you will have to go to the college for admission, then you have to fill up some form, elaborately, have to provide some details, and have to pay the admission as well as the semester fees. That's it for the admission process. Nothing else. And, if someone is interested to take admission through management quota, then, similar process is also followed. But,in that case, the money offered by the college is dependable on the authority concerned.
