Remarks

It gets A+ grade by NAAC.Very good college near by living place and also have a very good reputation.this college have all fecilties.Also very good for the journey because it is beside of bus road and nearer to the panskura railway station that's is good for my daily journey.

We are under UGC board so always the syllabus is updated.yes i provide enough industrial exposure.If i have to say a name its might have to be our principal sir Dr. Nandan Bhattacharya,he is a very good person.

College Events

In every year their are many programmes are arranged,it includes cultural like teachers day, freshers day fairwell day, Basanta utsav etc.also their are many inter college competition are arranged in between different departments of our colleges.I think 99% students and teachers are participates into these programmes.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't even think so that their are any scholarship is offered by our college.their is not available of any scholarship in our college.Better you have to try other scholarships from central ministry or state ministry.Might be in future their may some scholarship program are run when the poor but brilliant students can carry on their study from that money.

Campus Life

The college is very big it has 4 big building with a big ground,a big auditorium hall, administration office, exam controller office, Gym,canteen, central libreay, central laboratory, swimming pool girls hostel,boys hostel.free Wi-Fi all ovar in the college.The library is itself about 2000 sqft.The laboratory equiped with very expensive machenary like.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
