Hansraj College is a prestigious college situated in the north campus of Delhi University. It's course structure, placements opportunities and alumni strength really incentivises a prospective student to take admission in this college. The course - Economics Hons is a right blend of market based theory and practical based analytical things. These induces a student to enjoy the course with knowing how an economy works.

The course syllabus was very good. It provides ample opportunities to a student to hone his/her problem solving skills and at the same time, develops an analytical bent of mind. The industrial exposure was missing in the curriculum, though one can get the industrial exposure by opting for productive internship opportunities. The faculties were satisfactory. Some faculties were very good focusing on real-issues while teaching whereas some did not bother to undertake such efforts.

Placements are really good with a very high percentage of placement rate. Reputed companies like Macquarie, Bain, BCG, ICICI Bank, EXL, Indigo Airlines, The Smart Cube and various startups use to visit the campus to hire the brilliant minds of the nation. Although, the competition to get placed in good companies is really on a high degree. The placement cell devotes their best in orde to smoothen the placement process and in inviting companies in the campus.

The campus has its cultural fest every year that spans for 3-4 days. The fest is featured with the presence of dignitaries, singers, entrepreneurs and stars focused on the entertainment of the students. Various societies of courses have their separate fests focused on holistic development of students in a fun manner.

The campus infrastructure was awesome, with wi-fi, a availability of most of the sports' facilities and an air-conditioned library. The library of the campus provides ample opportunities to students to hone their skills- be it academic related or corporate focused.
