For placement opportunities, better faculty. Alot of opportunity to brush up my work skills.I opted for this course Because I like to talk learn about electronics. I love coding. This college is one of of the renowned private engineering institutions in Kolkata.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is okayish. We didn't get much Industrial exposure. Not yet. Faculties is also okayish. I really liked our maths teachers and our present bee teacher. They are really amazing.Rest is okay. Some our average.

I am an intern in Script productions. My stipend was 2000.

All multinational companies and few international companies come. I am in the first year so can't really provide you with the information.No. Clue about any alumni either. Who have started up thier own business

College Events

Our campus organizes big fest. Students from all over Calcutta participates. It isn't a very big fest. But it isn't a small but it is great. 3 out of 5 I would rate. Well I never been a part of the organising committee.

Campus infrastructure isn't that amazing. Neither our the labs. Library is too small wifi isn't of any use. Sports we have cricket football, tennis, carrom and table tennis. But not a 5 on 5 rate. I would probably give 1.5 out 5.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
