Remarks

my college is the morning ( girls ) section of Ashutosh college which is always took first place for me to do study. And its atmosphere is good enough. It has a library where I went to read my books peacefully.

Course Curriculum Overview

I really go through all the things we were taught but dont agree with the procedure of checking our exam papers. Our university should take it seriously because some students are really study hard but not gain the marks and they rejected in other forms.

Placement Experience

I am from am regular college so many of us doing commerce as many doing science as well so they decided their own journey. Some of my friends are now teacher in private school. Some work in office. Some startup their own business.

College Events

I really enjoyed my first year in the college. The events are too good. I take part in dance contest in first year and became 3rd with my friend. Also take parts in other events like sports or any political views. In 3rd year became class representative.

Campus Life

Our college has wifi connection but I never use it. It has a lab in the ground floor of Ashutosh building. And it includes a library also. We have 2 buildings with 4 floors and many rooms. Rooms are big and airy.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

The students need to pass their 10+2 examination from west bengal board or any other board with a minimum aggregate of 40% . The students must also english as one of their main subjects in10+2.
