Remarks

Best for life science course. Exposure you get towards your field is way beyond any student's expectation. As far as my course and department is considered, every lab is well equipped and we had the freedom to work in which ever project we wish to. I strongly recommend SRM for life science courses/degrees.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Syllabus is a well framed and it is of international standard. As far as my course is concerned, I'm satisifed with all of it. Faculties are all PhD scholars and scientists working on different research projects and very knowledgeable.

Internships Opportunities

I did opt for interships during holidays every semester for a month or so. Actually it is all unpaid as it's more of like a training for us in labs we do intership.

Placement Experience

3.5

Every department in SRM has good placement options. Except for the life science department like mine. There is no core company that comes for recruitment drive for us. But we get a lot of refferals and recommendations from our professors and they help us a lot to find job on our own.

College Events

5

There are two mega events one is culturals and other one is more of academic oriented. Both are the best and attended by students across India from different institutions. Milan is the cultural event and aarush is the academic fest.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students scoring above 9 gpa will have a fee waiver every year they score. There is founder's scholarship for students standing first in a department every year. Loan facility is not provied by SRM management.

Campus Life

4.5

Library, sport facilities, wifi, labs are very well equipped and recently they have launched SRM innovation lab, where students can work on their own project and even build prototypes. I am satisifed with the infrastructure that SRM has.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I didn't opt hostel. Instead I stayed in a separate apartment nearby to college. As far as to my knowledge the university hostels are very well maintained and food are mostly good. Hostels are of different categories starting from sharing to single rooms and from general to international hostels.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.
