I have chosen this College because it is one of the esteemed institutions in West Bengal.The best thing about this college is that it provides various opportunities by events and contests, throughout the year.

Course Curriculum Overview

The economics and maths faculty members in our college are great. Faculty members for different subjects in BBA are not that good. They are knowledgeable, but they lack a teaching style which would encourage students to enjoy the classes. Moreover, some teachers threat students by cancelling their attendance. There is an extra layer of discipline which discourages students.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 380000 per year

About 100students from our course got placed in the year 2019. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. About 20% of the students got placement in companies like Usha, ENY, Deloitte, Flipkart, etc. A top role offered to the students is an executive manager.

College Events

Managedia is the main fest of this college. This fest is continued for 5-6 days, and I think it is the best fest of Kolkata, students participated in the event according to their skills and interest, there is a tough competition among the Colleges to get the prizes.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
