Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is as per the national standard and IITs. Same set of subjects under each specialization are taught. Students can choose a niche subject during last four semesters. An academic year consist of two semesters and each semester has two internals and one final. Internals carry 30percent weight to the final grade. Student faculty ratio is pretty decent. Almost 70 teaching staffs are there.

Placement wise Ju mechanical do a decent job if not the best. College Events
Campus Life is everything you are going to experience at Ju! There are 5 canteens around the campus,big trees,three small lakes,a green zone to hang out and make memories! Sanskriti is our cultural fest and we have a tech fest too. Apart from that each department has it's own tech fest, fresher's party and farewell parties. Students look after everything by them starting from funding to execution.
Campus Life
Being a state University and minimal fees from student's end,JU face some infra shortage comparing to other national level Colleges. Buildings are almost 70-80 yrs old without sufficient renovation work. Majority of the classrooms are without air conditioning. Labs arent that well equipped.Although things are improving since central government funding last year,still a long way to go.
