Remarks

The facaulty of our college are really good. Our faculty is very good. Our teachers are very helpful. They are very qualified. The are much knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. Our course curriculum was very much helpful. Our teachers use many kind of teaching methods. The notes which are given is much helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview

People who don't know about college assumes the university to be the college, which is not true. No auditorium, even seminar hall is borrowed from university itself. No playground, no ACs in classrooms. Only the computer labs are in better condition.

Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are decreasing year by year. This year around 85 students got placed form CSE department out of 150. Other departments have not good placements at all. IT department has also got some good in this number. The worst is for core departments. Still students manage to get off campus jobs. Maximum on campus packages reach 12-15 Lacs pa, not more than that.

College Events

Syllabus is quite easy. Faculty members are good and helping here. They really motivate us towards studies. Lab assistants are best, they help a lot if you are good at flattering. Some of the teachers are demotivating too, they just rip up our confidence level even if everything is going good.

Campus Life

Our infrastructure is very good. We have computer labs, Language lab, studio room, library, sports and games room. We have field. The quality of food that is available in the canteen is very good and yummy. We do not have hostels. No I do not face any kind of difficulty.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
