Remarks

Kingston college is best college as per discipline and low fees. The college has very big area of campus compared to other college. The tuition fee is very low just 1.2 lakhs total. It is near to my home and bus fare is pretty low.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is updated with many programming subjects and Java and C++ language. We get our study materials and practice sets in pdf and sometimes printed at free of cost. Teachers are helpful but some senior faculties are very strict.

Placement Experience

Job offers like junior front end developer, full stack web developer, python developer, junior java engineer etc offered. From 1st semester we get many mock interview and skill development and grooming classes.

College Events

Campus life is enjoyable. Events like saraswati puja, biswakaram puja, holi, diwali etc held in our college. Many artist and actors and singer came in our college fest and annual cultural function. We all enjoy them.

Campus infrastructure is good compared to fees. We have a good playground of 20 acres, free parking place, good classrooms, air conditioned seminar halls and many more things. Campus is very big rather than other college. We have very big full ac library.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
