Remarks

I choose the college because the college is best college compared to other college of Barasat area. The college is very fees is very low and the auto fare is just 10 rupees. Campus is very beautiful, it contains many green gardens and trees.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very good as per any average students. Teachers are very friendly and helpful. We get daily session of coding, pdf transcripts. Teachers took many mock tests and give us previous year question papers solved answers.

Placement Experience

Placements are average. Salary packages starts from 1lacs per annum. Salary raised up to 3 lakhs. If anyone have web development skills he can get good offers. They have many offers from MNCs like cognizent, accenture.

We organize many activites like quizes, marathon, sports, bloood donation camp, coding webinar etc. We all enjoy in our college fest. Our college organize separate fest for all departments. They give MAR points for participate in cultural programme.

Library is very good and airconditioned. We can borrow up to 3 books for 15 days or extended. Our seminar halls are very modern. Our college has all the amenities. Wifi facility is not available in our college.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
