Remarks

It is one of the top 10 commerce college in Kolkata. And also is one of the best bcom college in Kolkata for women. I chose it for the morning shift. As I have enough time to study before going for tuitions

Course Curriculum Overview

I was very much updated about the syllabus by the teachers on the very first day of college. The library is very helpful, it allows us to take books home for studying.The teaching are very helpful and are approachable.

Class Size: 170Course Fees: INR 11000 per year

Placement Experience

No my college doesn't provide internship. But yes they offer placement to the deserving students. TCS is the top recutting company. Nearly seventy students in 400 gets a job from the campus each year.

College Events

More or less festivals like Holi, Saraswati Puja are held at the college. The college has an annual programme every year. There is a large number of participants during those programs, NAZRUL MANCHA is booked every year to host the Annual Program of the college.

The college provides free WiFi and has a big library with books on every subject, they allow us to borrow those books for studying too.The College has computer lab with adequate computers and allows students to practice the required.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Moderate College Life.

After HS I applied many colleges but I didn't got chance at the top notch colleges as they damand more marks than I got. After trying so many colleges I finally got admitted to this college.
