Remarks

Bhawanipur Education Society College has a very well renowned and reputed Faculty in the BCom morning department. Professors are very helpful and friendly. Getting into BESC is not that difficult. Fee structure is affordable, looking at all the modern amenities and great infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is updated. Faculties are very good and reputed. Specially the BCOM Department (Morning batch) has some wonderful teachers and the college gives a great ambience to study. Academic wise, the result of the college over the past years is decent too.

Placement Experience

One of the major factors for taking admission to this college is the fact that it is among the very few colleges in Kolkata to actually have a proper placement cell. There many big companies as the recruiters in the placement programme of the college.

The campus is quite big and has a gym. The college has clubs where students can enrol themselves to keep up with cultural activities. Events are celebrated in a huge way inside the college campus. UMANG is the Annual Fest where Bollywood celebrities are invited every year to perform.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me .
