Remarks

This is the best college as per fees in the Barasat area. This college is very close to my. Bus fare is just 8 rupees. And campus is 80 acres spread. The campus is very green with big trees. I liked this. So I choose the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is very updated and this college is Maualana Abul Kalam Azad University. Teachers are very strict they give us daily study material. And in the lockdown session, they give us daily zoom classes etc.

Job opportunities like front end web developer, web designer, UI developer, graphics designers etc available. I got a offer of 2 lacs per annum. Salary can raise up to 3 lacs per annum. placements are average.

College Events

Extra curricular activities like drawing singing competition, blood donation etc held in our college. We all enjoy our college fest together, popular music band fakira came in previous year. We all dancing with her song.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is good. We get good library which has all new books. Seminar hall is fully airconditioned. Campus is very very beautiful. And neat and clean. Parking is fully free for cycle, bike, car.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
