Remarks

The college Institute of Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Development is very much prestigious and has a very good ranking overall and the It is one the top five Colleges of Kolkata in Media Science and Animation.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers in our college are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. I would rate 9 out of 10 for teaching quality. The course curriculum is not that relevant, but few subjects are relevant. It makes us industry-ready. Subjects like quants or stats are not much useful, and the content of the course is repetitive.

Placement Experience

Till date, about 2% of the students got placed. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 4 LPA, the average salary package offered is 2 LPA. Students are offered with roles like a management trainee, recruitment specialist, learning and development trainee and talent acquisition specialist. Almost 95% of the students got an internship in companies like Tavant, Udaan, Total Environment, etc.

We observed that there are many events which are conducted on a regular basis. From the commencement of course we had a guest lecture series for 15 days which gave us a clear idea about MBA Programme and industry requirements. Later, we had an inter collegiate fest. Regularly college conducts lecture series. We, students hosted and organised this event which helped us to inculcate many managerial skills.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
