Remarks

I chose this college because this college is very reputed college for commerce in South Kolkata.It is a morning college.It is a girls college.It is known to be the best college for commerce in South Kolkata.It is close to my house.

Course Curriculum Overview

Professors are highly qualified and some are very well-known in the society for their teaching quality. They were very helpful. They even give extra classes for the benefit of the students. Course curriculum is definitely relevant and makes students ready.

Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Placement Experience

I don't know much about the placement but seniors said that many companies like PWC, TCS visited our campus for recruitment and offered placements in the previous year.Many students were selected.The placement cell of the college is good.

College Events

Our campus life is very good. Every year an annual sports meet takes place in a stadium. Saraswati puja and Annual fest are celebrate every year.We have a union but thats non political. The economics status is pretty good.

Campus Life

The college is well designed. Classrooms are airy with library facilities and computer labs are available. Different computer courses are also provided for extra skills. Wi-Fi is available for 24 hours.No hostel facility is there. The college canteen provides good quality food at cheaper rate.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Moderate College Life.

After HS I applied many colleges but I didn't got chance at the top notch colleges as they damand more marks than I got. After trying so many colleges I finally got admitted to this college.
