Remarks

ILEAD College is among the top colleges in Kolkata. It has good infrastructure and fully equipped and modern labs for various subjects. The college not only focuses on academic progress but also on extra curriculums. The faculty is great.

Course Curriculum Overview

Some of the faculty members are really good. Some are really shady. But that's the case with almost all other colleges in the country. All the faculty members are very approachable outside classes. And are very student friendly. A personal equation is formed with the student and teacher by the end of 6 months. Some subjects are really good but some exist only for the sake of it. It has very little scope to be taught in a span of 6 months so it can be clubbed with other worthless subjects like international business and Production and operations management.

As far as BBA is concerned and otherBBA colleges are concerned. Placements are very good comparatively. Placement department is very flexible and helps a lot. Good companies like JP morgan and Morgan Stanley, Deloitte and TCs and paypal and dell and what not hire from all college. But be ready to do whatever job you're offered. Like a back-up job.

Seminars and events are there in College, they focus a lot in Seminar, almost there are 5-6 Seminars events months and it can be any kind of seminars, may be regarding MBA or any product or any application.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Well, I didn't apply to any other colleges because it was not necessary and there are not many colleges in kolkata for interior designing, and that also this good.
